It is recommended that candidates spend about 40 hours in total on the extended essay. An important role of the supervisor is to offer encouragement, support and reassurance during preparation and writing of the extended essay. I've already submitted my topic to my supervisor and i don't think i can really change it at this point. 160 i'm just wondering, how important is it that my topic is super original? like if i write a quality essay but my topic is overdone, will that take away a lot of points? i'm not aiming for like a really good grade anyways, just want a b or a c. Also, how do you find sources for an english ee? my supervisor isn't really helpful
