in conjunction with the 4 th international ofel conference an academic writing workshop is being held, from 15 h –16 th april, by the academy of management aom managerial and organizational cognition moc division for early career researchers from universities in the south east europe area. Senior editors from leading academic journals impact factors 2.6+ will help the participants transform their existing research results into articles publishable in such outlets. The moc division reaches out to perspective young scholars from the area, trying to help their integration into the international academic knowledge exchange, as it the realized that there are valuable contributions that struggle with publication despite strictly following the criteria, as they cannot adhere to the unspoken conventions. The aim of the workshop is to support better integration of young scholars from the see area into the academy of management particularly in the field of qualitative research, which is rather devalued in the area. Thus, we believe that the workshop will be an incredibly useful contribution for the participants as it will provide the participants with an opportunity to share and develop their research ideas in a critical but supportive environment. We are expecting up to 40 participants half should be early career stage researchers and the other half senior academics.

About 16 participants are expected to present their ongoing work and editorial board members from leading management journals will work with them on how develop their results into high quality publications. The workshop will be held at the university of dubrovnik, department of economics and business economics address: lapadska obala 7, 20 dubrovnik, croatia. The indian academy of management an affiliate of the academy of management invites submissions for its 2015 conference.

The conference will focus on contextual matters, as they relate to the impact of the indian context, including formal and informal rules, on businesses and markets. It is important that each paper must include exclusive or comparative focus on indian context. Submissions may take the form of competitive papers, work in progress, symposia proposals and proposals for doctoral colloquia. A broad range of methodologies are also welcome, including quantitative and qualitative methods and experimental work.

We welcome single authored as well as co authored pieces on which the doctoral student is the lead author.  submissions can include: proposal based or dissertation based working papers conference papers that have been previously presented advanced manuscripts that may have already been reviewed but are not yet accepted for publication. In order to facilitate processing of submissions, please make sure that your submission contains only the absolute minimum necessary footnotes or endnotes. All articles submitted to european management review are double blind reviewed. Please ensure that no author names are given on the first page of the manuscript and that author names have been taken out of the file properties screen in microsoft word. Regular articles should be no longer than 40 pages, and 'research notes' no longer than 25 pages. As the online submission system captures author names and contact details, the title page should list only the title of the article and suggestions for a short running title of no more than 40 characters including spaces. Please be sure that the abstract page does not contain any information identifying the author s.

Also, please take care to create a title and an abstract that are direct and 'reader friendly'. Include up to six keywords that describe your paper for indexing and for web searches in your manuscript. The introduction should state clearly the objective of the paper as well as the motivation and context of the research.
