Essay on Real Friendship Text

Jonathan Friesen - Writing Coach

I wrote this because this is all my experience and my opinions of real friends. Real friends are those who will stick with you no matter what and won’t say things that will bring you down. When someone does that to you it makes you feel better and it shows that they’re good friends. You know someone’s a good friend when you get in a huge fight with them, and they can forgive each other and laugh about it. People say they have lots of real friends that will be there no matter what, they’re the lucky ones.

I don’t really have a lot of those because i can’t trust them because they don’t make me feel like i can by there actions. I usually have trouble trusting people with things because i am afraid of how they will react. Some people would say that real friends would just tell you the truth about something without concern of how they say it, but they need to think about that they can still be honest. Do real friends make you feel bad when you’re around them? would someone you consider to be a real friend say this to you you’re a really good friend but just to let you know, you’re really ugly and no one likes you? how would you think of that person? i would say that person obviously doesn 039 t understand what it means to be respectful. Someone once showed me this quote from gandhi and it really shows what i’m trying to say be the change you wish to see in the world.

When people have to go out of there way to impress people to be there friends, they aren’t real friends. Real friends are those who come up to you and they will enjoy you the way you are, not who you are trying to be. For me, it’s difficult because i’m not very social and i am considered weird to others. Out of all the people you meet in life, only a few of them will stay with you the whole way. You’ll be surprised with how many friends you think will be there for you when you need them and those who you don’t even have to ask for help, they are just there for you no matter what. In general we want true friends without which the world is nothing but a wilderness.

As told by bacon, a principal fruit of friendship is the ease and discharge of the fullness and swellings of the heart, which passions of all kinds do cause and induce.
