The most important components of communication are: the sender, the receiver, a message and the feedback. First the sender who is the person or entity that is sending a message with information. After receiving the message, he tries to encode the message and prepares a proper answer which is called, the feedback. Communication is an essential part of this modern world being used all the time in business, pleasure, sport or many other situations. Nonverbal communication is communicating without words but through gesture, body language, facial expression and eye contact. Most people believe this is the most but in reality verbal communication is only utilized 35% and nonverbal communication 65%. Problems can also quickly interfere when people communicate, these are called communication barriers.

Types of barriers are interpersonal barriers, this happens when people are not able to listen objectively to the message. Selective listening, which is when the receiver is only partly listening with all his attention to the message. Important is to evaluate what potential barriers can be affecting for the delivery of the message as well the receiving feedback. In the past only face to face interaction was possible but with new technologies like phones, computers and others to give a total new way of communication possible.

One of the biggest technological inventions are the social network sites like facebook and twitter. People have a certain number of friends which whom they share pictures, comments on the pictures and also sending personal messages to everyone. In this case people send a message through facebook to a friend that will read that message on their own computer and can give feedback to the sender of the message. People don’t need to wait anymore until they see the person, but simply can use computers and cell phones to send their message and receive quick feedback. Team sport would be impossible if people aren’t able to communicate with each other. Basically the world wouldn’t exist without communication you have not saved any essays.

Analysis of communication processes within the workplace in order to be an effective manager in the work force today, we must have a very good understanding of the various ways in which people interact and communicate with each other. It is critical that good leaders display the ability to effectively communicate with their associates and subordinates, as well as train and encourage others to demonstrate those same communication skills. By effectively doing so, they will promote both a healthy and efficient work environment that everyone will benefit from. The perspectives of effective communication requires team members to meet the challenge of learning to effectively communicate and develop together for a common goal. Simplex communication can be as simple as asking for a status of the project, to the very complex assignment of explaining the five year strategic plan that would include detailed economic and competitive advantages. How we communicate and how we receive communication has and will continue to have a direct and guiding effect on our careers as managers.

I have found through observation that most verizon managers feel that the most important factor in employee promote ability would be effective communication. With this in mind it is strange to see that many these managers and employees within the various verizon organizations lack effective communication skills. In my opinion, i have found that effective communication to be a very serious problem. Many managers are not aware of the communication importance and their lack of mastery of this skill. Verizon corporation trainers are stressing the importance of communication on a more frequent basis. Emphasis is placed on communication being clear communication is the process of transferring meaning from sender to receiver.

Organizational communication process involves both the external and internal flows of information, including verbal communication in a nation and in the world as well. Government attempt to secure agreements with other nations regarding international trade is one of the major objectives of external communication, which often takes the form of two way communication. Other external communication often involves more ways than one way communication and that may require all the parties affected by the messages to join and cooperate.
