The mass media in all it forms and formats has changed the civilization immensely, and today billions of people in developed and developing countries can benefit from this access to various information gathered from around the globe. Television news is one of the most widely used medium for transmitting information to the public audience, which is why there is a certain debate about whether tv news are worth trusting. Ideally, tv news programs must be independent and uncensored, and they should provide information as it is, revealing sources and bolstering all facts.
