Essay on Life Is Full of Challenges Text

Jonathan Friesen - Writing Coach

As you may have read in my recent post, i just went through a major change of plans. In the days that followed, i contracted strep throat, got into a car accident, and was bit by a tick. But no matter how horrible these challenges may be, they are a way for us to learn something new about ourselves. What would be the point of this life? true, we dont always have a choice in what challenges we face. When life throws a challenge at you, remember that youre still alive, and treat this challenge as an opportunity. Sometimes, a painful challenge will create a buildup of negative energy associated with it. When i feel the presence of negative energy around me, i resort to an age old tradition of lighting up a candle and placing it next to a bowl of fresh water to clear it up.

Without your resistance, the negative energy will naturally dissipate after a short time. This means doing whatever you are naturally capable of, to resolve the situation. If you make the decisions from your heart, they will be the best ones under the circumstances.

This is lifes way of saying if i throw this at you, what will you do? how will you react? will you run away and hide, or will you exercise your resolve and make the best out of the situation? no matter what, it’s just a cycle, just a stage. Reflect, reflect, reflect even before the challenge is resolved, think about why you were given this challenge. The painful ones are those that we need the most to get us to that new chapter in life. To help us shed our skin, so we can grow it back shinier than ever! i believe that everyone has problems or challenges to overcome everyday. Even people who think that they are perfect have problems or challenges to overcome everyday. Sometime when i have problems in my daily life, i think of them as challenges to overcome.

Because you get problems and adversity anyway, no matter what, why not at least make use of them? thinking of those obstacles as challenges is a giant step in the direction of making hardship or difficulty has meaning. I still have my moments where i fail miserably and then gripe and moan for unknown amounts of time as i have a pity party. However when i’m done feeling sorry for myself i remember my goal to do this and suddenly there is a surge of strength that comes up that i didn’t know i had….and i can carry on. Believe in yourself and believe in your problems and challenges to overcome everyday. My own problems or challenges that i had to overcome: one day in computer science class, we were starting another lab for the six weeks. Glennon taught the lesson needed for this lab last class and i did not understand it very well.

There were many lessons to teach you to know the materials, but something was missing and i could not understand it. On that day, i was unable to complete any parts of my lab, because of my lack of understanding for the lesson. I understood the lesson very well and was able to complete my lab that evening when i went home. I believe anyone would be able to overcome challenges or problems in their daily lives.
